SOCIAL SOLIDARITY
Basically, humans are social
creatures who need each other between one human to another human. Multicultural
society such as Indonesia said that Indonesia has a diversity and wealth are in
dire need of solidarity, or can also be called solidarity among fellow human
beings in order to achieve a harmonious life. Social solidarity is the attitude
and behavior based on the sense of responsibility and awareness of social
participation to address and tackle social problems.

understanding, awareness, confidence and participation of social responsibility

togetherness, a willingness to sacrifice for others, mutual cooperation in
togetherness and kinship.
The concept of social solidarity/social solidarity is a concept Emile Durkheim (1858-1917) in the development of social theory. Durkheim (in Lawang, 1994: 181) states that social solidarity is "a state of relations between the individuals and groups that are based on moral feelings and beliefs held together and strengthened by shared emotional experience".
Solidarity emphasis on the state of relations between individuals and groups, as well as in the life of the underlying attachment along with the support of moral values and beliefs that live in the community. Concrete manifestation of mutual relations will bear the emotional experience, thereby strengthening the relationship between them, and then there will be creative in the fight for a common vision.
According W.J.S. Poerwodarminta Indonesian dictionary, 'loyalty' is derived from the word 'faithful' which means "stay and courageous (in the family, friendship)." For example, although it has been so long her husband to go abroad, he remained faithful (remain steadfast heart) wait.
The term loyal connotes "submissive and obedient (to the regulations, an obligation). "For example, after all the heavy task to be executed, he remains faithful (dutiful) execute it. The term is also interpreted faithfully "hold fast (in the founding, promise)." For example, even if it rains with thick, he remained faithful to (cling to) fulfill a promise to go to his house.
Fidelity is a firm stance on the establishment and adherence to appointments, rules or values that have been agreed.
Loyalty can also be directed at the person's state and nation. Teaching or understanding which requires the delivery of the highest fidelity to the country of his nationality called Nationalism.
So fidelity is desired by the people of Indonesia are as follows:
a. Loyalty to the integrity of the nation.
b. Fidelity to the proclamation of independence August 17, 1945.
c. Loyalty to the State of the Pancasila.
d. Loyalty to the Indonesian legal system.
A.
Loyalty expected of Indonesia
As a pluralistic nation, is also the problem of diverse, such matters of family life, even the life of the community within the state. The result may bring happiness or otherwise.
One factor that supports sustainability and the achievement of a life together is loyalty to what has been a mutual agreement. Similarly, in the life of the nation, we need a loyalty to the nation and the state to defend and preserve the survival of the nation and efforts to achieve the goal of establishment of the state.
B. Solidarity era eroded
The idea originated from the solidarity of the people's solidarity and nationality of the Indonesian nation. Solidarity arises because of common fate (history), the similarity region (territorial), cultural similarity, and language. According to Ernest Renan [1823-1892], all of it is capital to form a nation. National consciousness that climaxed with the declaration of the Youth Pledge in 1928.

According to the Social Affairs Minister Bachtiar Chamsyah (2006), there are three things that erode the value of social solidarity. First, strengthening the spirit of individualistic because of globalization. Wave of globalization with the paradigm of freedom, directly or indirectly, have an impact on the erosion of cultural values of society. Second, the strengthening of communal and regional identities. As a result, the communal spirit of regionalism and more dominant than nationalism. Third, the lack of leadership authority. This is related to the exemplary leadership fading. Erosion of social solidarity lead to distrust, both among the public and the government and between the public and the community, as divided in various categories.
C. Rediscover solidarity
In the course of history, we need the momentum to raise the spirit and power of new implementations. In the midst of the global financial crisis, it might be time to rediscover the values of social solidarity in order to answer the question of nationality.
It's time we grow what is called Komaruddin Hidayat (2008) subsequently applied to the grand solidarity into a grand reality. Grand solidarity is the sense of community to build the nation, based on the spirit, determination, and vision of the founding father's taught. The grand reality is an attempt to apply the past to the present context. On the practical level, the development programs must be based on the spirit of solidarity that is realized in the form of empowerment. The government is required to provide feedback (access to capital), guiding how to fishing (access HR), shows where the bait (access to technology and information), as well as indicating where to sell fish (market access).
At the community level, can the rich people who live in poor neighborhoods to help the poor. This is called social concern. If this is done simultaneously, will create harmony in the level of state and public life.
So, it's time to rediscover the national social solidarity and national identity. We must cultivate the spirit of togetherness and concern in dealing with the challenges of nationhood.
D.
Moral values of the social solidarity
As for the moral values embodied in social solidarity including the following:
1. Please help. Moral values is evident in people's lives, such as: helping fellow neighbors. For example, to help victims of natural disasters or visit a sick neighbor.
2. Mutual assistance, such as working the fields or build a house.
3. Cooperation. This reflects an attitude of moral value to cooperate with others, although different in ethnicity, race, skin color, and does not discriminate the differences in cooperation.
4. The value of togetherness. The moral is there because of the attachment of self and self-interest and fellow loyalty, help and defend each other. Examples contribute something to the place of disaster, whether it be flood, famine or attacked by another nation.
1. Please HELP
In the popular concept of helping us to know the community better work together for the benefit of an individual or a particular family. Usually a job always ask for help and courtesy, ask the others to help, and that help will be rewarded accordingly. In helping is driven by the principle of reciprocity (reciprocity) means, who ever helped would receive help from the reverse side ever to help. So in helping is a kind of cooperation between individuals or between groups based reciprocity. Because it can also be seen as a kind of exchange or some kind of social insurance.
2. The Mutual-Aid
In linguistic kinship means matters relating to the family. Family in a variety of terms can be equated fraternity and collectivism. This term refers to an atmosphere all of social life that exists between members of a social group, where everyone was related to another, brotherly relationship (Kinship), kinship is friendship, the principle of solidarity, and the value of solidarity. Legal friendship, the principle of solidarity, mutual aid, mutual feeling, and so this is the essence of family relationships.
From this we understand the value of cultural kinship meaningful for kinship solidarity group "bear the same weight, same lightweight portable". From the spirit of cultural value that this gives a signal, the duty of every citizen to voluntarily help those who suffer or live below the subsistence minimum limit.
Based on the description of the three basic values of the Social Solidarity, in the general view can be conveyed that our social life is actually still full of atmosphere: religious, harmony, mutual cooperation, mutual help unconditionally, kinship, and solidarity between people. While on the other hand there are some people who are individualistic (self-interest) and others. And despite the fact that these things are part and parcel of everyday life that any normal society.
However the situation experienced by our society is certainly enough to realize that the basic values of Social Solidarity require attention and studied in depth. Are these values still relevant to the prevailing reality? And how is the future of these values? Everything must die to ourselves, our community and the greater the scope of the Republic of Indonesia beloved.
E.
The nature of the occupation as a violation of human rights
Blessed are currently living in the wild with the freedom of independence because we are free to do anything as long as freedom is carried out in accordance with the objectives of the country.
But as a great civilized nation and certainly will never forget the history of the struggle of his people. To understand further consider the description as well as understand how the shape of the occupation are by now.
Colonialism in all its forms is always detrimental to the nation or nations that were colonized. This is evident from the colonization of Indonesia by foreign nations (Portugal, Spain, UK, Netherlands and Japan) that has led the nation of Indonesia suffered from the exploitation of natural and human colonists against Indonesia.
So how to shape the occupation are? The shape of the occupation are like: mastery of natural resources, human with military power (exploitation).
In this modern era, colonialism is not practiced in the form as it was before the proclamation of August 17, 1945, but tends to be in a form adapted to the circumstances of the times. The form in question is a colonial occupation in the fields of: economy, culture, politics and ideology.

We know that humans instinctively kept in touch with each other and the environment, so that the relationship will lead to a social group.
If people have felt the same boat and have the awareness to help among social groups, the sense of unity and unity will be realized. If it is so then it will grow united force to repel the invaders.
Examples of improving the ability to create a life based on the principles of social solidarity:
- Getting used to help victims of natural disasters. In the previous explanation that every human life would be meaningless if life is based togetherness. Man by nature was always expected to live as social beings in addition to being an individual.

Social solidarity is a value that is meaningful to each nation. The soul and spirit of social solidarity in the life of the nation and the people of Indonesia in essence has been around since the days of our ancestors long before this country stand as an independent nation which became known as the nation of Indonesia.
The soul and the spirit of social solidarity in the course of the life of our nation has been tested in a variety of historical events, with the peak manifestation manifested in acts and attitudes based on the sense of community of the people of Indonesia in the face of threats from invaders threatening the survival of the nation.
History has proven that Indonesia achieved independence thanks to the high spirit of social solidarity. Therefore, the spirit of social solidarity must always be embedded, enhanced and confirmed through a variety of activities including warnings HKSN annually.
HKSN which we commemorate is an expression of gratitude and respect for the success of all the people of Indonesia in the face of the threat of other nations who want to re-colonize our nation. Warning HKSN that we carry out every December 20 is also an attempt to look back, appreciate and imitate the value of unity and integrity, cooperativeness value, the value of togetherness and family values all the people of Indonesia in the war for Independence.
F. Importance of Social Solidarity Campaign
Since the reform movement was initiated, several demands changes occur on a large scale. In various sectors of life calls for the adjustment process to the social order, political, economic and social culture better. Democratic means which includes a spirit of tolerance, pluralism, respect for minorities, inclusion and development of the locality began to strengthen back. The problem is the transformation of the new changes proved to be not running fast, accurate and relatively normal. Precisely the facts prove that the transition tends to indicate the existence of new clashes.
Optimism positive expectations for the change that turns implied also a number of doubts and indecision, especially when watching a series of social conflicts based on ethnic issues, ethnic, religious, sectarian (Sara) between groups of community members repeatedly occur. Likewise, natural disasters and earthquakes after another, the annual flood which is now no longer an annual even more likely to come, Lapindo mudflow disaster are not visiting after adding add grief and deep pain. Not just given birth and material casualties of innocent lives were thousands in number, are also fears continue to haunt the masses psychologically. A strong suspicion that this phenomenon occurs due to the strong dependence of the authority or power of citizens and on the other hand the loss of independence of citizens in solving social problems.
However, the values of Social Solidarity society citizens to look faded, if not be called almost extinct. The issue is how the Social Solidarity (values) were exhumed in the context of a pluralist society and the reality of such a change at this time? This is not an easy job, but we would try to explore the social values that may underlie Social solidarity based on practical experiences when dealing with a social problem that is happening in the community.
